Since she was a child, Dr. Kalokhe was always amazed by how complex but synchronized the human body is. Biology was one of her favorite subjects in school, and when it was time to choose a career, she considered both medicine and dentistry. She ultimately chose to become a dentist because it would enable her to interact more directly with her patients while also allowing for a healthier work-life balance.
Dr. Kalokhe earned her dental degree at the Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital back in her native India, and she went on to obtain her master’s in endodontics at Case Western Reserve University. Today, she keeps herself up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry by attending various continuing education programs and regional endodontic conferences. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, American Academy of Endodontists, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Kalokhe and her husband have two lovely daughters, so most of her free time is spent at home. She likes to cook different types of foods, including Indian, Italian, Thai, and more. She is also a trained Indian Classical Dancer and still enjoys teaching dance to little kids as a hobby.
