Dr. Mensah knew that she wanted to work in a branch of medicine that would allow her to get to know her patients and form long-lasting relationships with them. She saw that dentistry would give her the opportunity to be a healthcare provider, scientist, and artist at the same time, so it sounded like the perfect fit for her. These days, she says that it is the best feeling in the world to get people to smile again and help those in pain.
Dr. Mensah earned both her undergraduate and dental degrees from Marquette University. Since then, she has taken several hours of continuing education and is now a Certified Invisalign Provider. Dr. Mensah is married, and she and her husband, Conei, live on the southside and are the proud parents of an insanely cute and mischievous Goldendoodle, Tyson. Their favorite thing to do together is travel—so far, they have been to Italy, Spain, and Ghana, and hope to visit more places soon. They are also huge foodies and love exploring the Chicago restaurant scene. They’ve recently started gardening and are growing their own herbs and vegetables as well.
