Sara – Office Manager
Sara studied at Lahore Medical and Dental College, and she also has a Master’s in Public Health from Walden University. Her overall career in the dental world covers a full decade so far, and she loves that she still learns new things every day through her position! Her positive nature and problem-solving talents are a great fit for UDP.
Away from the dental office, Sara is happily married with a young son. She loves to read (mostly Urdu novels), bake, and de-stress by spending quality time with loved ones. She’s also recently gotten into watching videos with helpful “hacks” for organization.
Kim – New Patient Coordinator
Kim’s dental career impressively spans 35+ years so far! She started out as a dental assistant, and now gets to provide administrative support for optimal patient care. As a part of University Dental Professionals, she’s always working hard to help our patients better their health in lasting ways.
Away from the dental office, Kim lives with her husband Calvin and also has a large extended family, including several nieces and nephews whom she is close with. She spends her free time coordinating various events, reading, and doing Cricut crafts.
Celia – Dental Hygienist
Celia’s career in the dental world covers nearly 15 years so far. She studied at Indiana University and also speaks Spanish as her first language! Today, what she likes most about her job is having such a great boss and teacher – everyone here truly learns from the best. As a group practice, she also enjoys how easy it is for the whole team to communicate about patient cases.
Celia’s husband works as a line tech for Comcast, and they have three kids – a boy and twin girls. As for personal hobbies, she likes to go running, take the kids to family-friendly activities, and keep her living spaces organized as a self-proclaimed neat freak.
Crystal – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
A Chicago native, Crystal has been working in dentistry for a full decade. As one of our dedicated assistants, she loves having the opportunity to meet and work with new people, as well as constantly learn about new techniques and materials in the dental world.
At home, Crystal is the grateful mother of a daughter and a son. Away from the dental office, you can usually find her enjoying free time with loved ones and hanging out in the wonderful Chicago weather!
Yolanda – Dental Assistant
Yolanda has been a part of the dental field for over three decades, with nearly half of that time spent right here at our dental office! She studied dental assisting at Wright College. Her favorite part of this job is an easy question to answer: the wonderful patients.
Outside of working hours, Yolanda is close with her daughter, her siblings, and her mom. She also has two special grandbabies named Camila and Sebastian! Her favorite hobbies include dancing, swimming, running, and being a fashionista.
Maya – Dental Hygienist
Maya is originally from Poland! She attended high school here in Chicago and completed the accelerated program at Fox College in Bedford Park. Today, she is certified in local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, and soft tissue lasers. Throughout her 15+ years of experience in the world of dentistry, working with patients has remained her favorite part of her job.
Maya has six sisters, one brother, and one son, Noah. In her free time, she loves doing outdoor activities, like hiking and camping!
Nada – Dental Hygienist
Nada joined our team in 2021, bringing nearly 10 years of experience with her. Born and raised in Chicago, she attended Malcolm X College. Today, she has undergone additional training in CPR, nitrous oxide, and laser dentistry. When asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared that it is working with an amazing group of people who are just as passionate about their patients’ health!
In her free time, Nada enjoys exploring new places to eat in the city, playing on her VR headset, practicing photography, and singing. In fact, she’d even like to be a voice actress someday!
